AIRsteril Washroom Complete Range
Office bathrooms and toilets can be a primary source of infections leading to staff absenteeism, including salmonella, e.coli, rhinovirus, norovirus, influenza, pneumonia, hepatitis A, hepatitis E and clostridium difficile. Bacteria reproduce at a fast rate on surfaces, and in bathrooms which are often poorly ventilated and have a humid atmosphere, this rate of reproduction can be significantly increased. Add to this the influx of new bacteria, both as a high footfall area, and via faecal microbes becoming airborne through flushing, and your toilet might just be the reason your staff go off sick.
The same bacteria responsible for staff absenteeism are also often responsible for the bad odours associated with bathrooms and so the Washroom Thermal Range from AIRsteril has been developed to overcome both these issues in medium footfall bathrooms. The Washroom Thermal range has been designed to specifically work in the humid environment of a washroom, targeting bacteria, viruses, and other harmful pathogens, at the same time controlling odours while also being our lowest power consumption models. In turn, this creates a more pleasant environment to be in, and also supports a reduction in staff absenteeism through lower cross-infection rates.
The main variation in the Washroom Thermal range is size, with the basic WT10, WT20 and WT30 tackling increasing room sizes up to 30m2. Each can handle a footfall up to around 200 visits a day in a bathroom of the appropriate size, and are available in white or titanium colour. For larger bathrooms, these systems can be used in tandem, however it might also be worth considering our Washroom Complete Range which are specifically designed for larger, higher footfall washrooms.

More about the model:

The Washroom Thermal range harnesses all the power of AIRsteril technologies, but have been specifically adapted to handle the odour and pathogen challenges unique to washroom and bathroom settings. The core design is the same in all of the models: all that changes is the size and capacity of the unit dependent on the volume of the room. We have seen these models used effectively in all sorts of washroom and changing room formats, including office or factory bathrooms, accessible toilets, baby changing facilities, sports changing rooms, and even medical sluice rooms.
As with all of the AIRsteril range, the Washroom Thermal models have been designed to increase hygiene standards beyond those achieved with cleaning alone. In enclosed spaces, particularly where ventilation is limited, airborne pathogens (including bacteria, viruses, mould spores and other volatile organic compounds) create offensive odours and spread infections. They are responsible for infection spread, staff absenteeism, bad smells and even descriptions of the air being ‘stuffy’, none of which can be fully managed or eliminated with cleaning alone.
